radio

on thursday, the phone rang and it was cbc radio. my first reaction was wrong number or did my parents call in for a prize. no, they wanted to interview me! somehow word had reached them that i had spent five months working for mds. they are doing a series on people who have spent time working on damage caused by katrina. august 29 is the one year anniversary of katrina. so to my surprise friday after the five o'clock news i made my radio debut. it was just a live phone interview but still i was excited and nervous. God gave me an oppurtunity to share why i went and what i had the pleasure to experiance and learn. wow, an oppurtunity out of the blue and for reasons i have no idea. this the lastest bit of news about me.

That is so awesome, Nicole. I would've been so nervous to do an interview like that, but I'm sure you did wonderfully. I wish I could've heard it.

By the way, nice blog. I just recently discovered it and I love looking at your incredible photography.

Be sure to check out my blog, too.
