Sunday

This past weekend here in India was Holi. For Hindu's it is a time to get rid of bad things in their lives including sin. It is quite a festive time, after this the celebration of color takes place. People thrown colored powder on each other. We took part and got ourselves colored. We also appeased the children in our back alley with water balloons. All those taunts and we could not resist. A lot of fun was had and it was a great opportunity to meet our neighbors. We did have to be careful walking the streets, as foreigners we were popular targets. You never knew where it was coming from as people were snipers with their water balloons.

However, now I have pink hair. I have been told that this punk edge suits me. But at my senior age I am not going for the punk look. =) Oh well.

Each Sunday night our team has a team night where we make sure we have fun. This past Sunday we went rock climbing, ate beef jerky and went out to eat to one of our favorite places "The Big Chill", it sort of has the feel of an Applebee's. They have great pasta, milkshakes and desserts. Beth planned this week and did a bang up job. We had fun to the max.
