love is in the air

the last days have been filled with many activities. we have been busy at the sisters with teaching english and celebrations. one girl had her birthday the other day and then this past weekend we had an engagement party at the church. one of the sisters is engaged to a fellow from the church. also on the love theme there have been many weddings going on and the other night we were treated to fireworks from the local market. so i shot a couple pictures.

in other things we have been spending time with a fellow canadian sam, from mbmsi who is out for some meetings called GDT. we have also been able to attend some of the sessions. it is wonderful to be challenged by other believers from all over asia as well as from God.

on a more personal level it has been good to be challenged by God in things that i have wanted to be stretched in for a while. it hurts when it happens but it is good and it what i desire, to be more like the one He wants me to be.

tomorrow we are attending the annual Independence day parade here in delhi, should be really interesting. security is really tight and so i won't be able to get any pictures. also prayer in the afternoon with the GDT meetings. then the next day we are meeting with sam for more good things. lots of good things in the next bit, hopefully i will blog sooner then i did last time.
