i splurged the other day and bought some tulips. this is a flower that reminds me of spring, the beauty of waking up after winter and the freshness of new life.
on the subject of new things. i have a new job. i am an assistant manager for ten thousand villages, which is a fair trade store. quite excited about this. another new opportunity is to take pictures of babies at church this coming week. there have been quite a few new births and so they are celebrating another woman and i are to take pictures, here's hoping that they turn out well.

we really appreciate your prayers as we get ready to leave. We're STILL waiting for our visas, so pray that we'll get them soon! We were planning to leave at the end of this month but now it looks like it'll be in May sometime!
I also enjoy seeing the pics you take....very beautiful! What kind of camera do you have? I love taking pictures and want to learn as much as I can.
